Rostrvm Solutions, leading provider of contact centre software applications, is sponsoring the London & South East Contact Centre Awards dinner, on 25 May.

Held at the Park Plaza Riverbank London Hotel, the awards celebrate the success of contact centres across the region and aim to raise the profile of the sector as an attractive career path, as well as highlight worthy role models .

There are 12 categories in the competition this year and a shortlist of candidates will be announced on 23 March. At the Gala Dinner the winners will be asked to share their knowledge and experiences with the audience. The whole event provides an excellent opportunity to network and share best practice.”

One of the 12 categories is ‘Best Use of Technology’ and the judges will be looking for an organisation which has improved its operations through the integration of new IT solutions.

Blending is not just about combining inbound and outbound telephone calls – it can also be used for combining calls with emails and social media responses.

Contact centres need to deploy all channels open to them to gain – and keep – competitive edge and maximise performance in the current marketplace. As well as looking at processes and human resources, optimising IT should be part of a successful management strategy. Integrating new IT solutions doesn’t have to cost a fortune as the right piece of software, which complements existing IT, can improve performance both for staff and for customers.
